Simple, straightforward B&B in the tiny village of Medendorf, in the Belgian Ardennes/Eifel. Snow View Lodge has 3 double rooms with shared bathroom. Downstairs is a cosy living room with a fireplace, tv, fridge with drinks, free coffee and tea. Free internet, free parking on our own terrain. The landscape is characterised by rolling hills and valleys, with woods, meadowland and little rivers. Great for walkers, mountain bikers and other outdoor enthousiasts. In winter time we usually have several weeks of snow for cross country and alpine skiing. A 10 minute drive will take you to the lovely lakes of Bütgenbach or Kronenburg, with beaches and plenty of water sport facilities. Or explore the picturesque little towns of Malmédy, Sankt Vith, Monschau and Prüm. Also to be recommended are the Spa Formula 1 circuit, the amusement parks of Plopsa Coo or Phantasialand and the Hautes Fagnes National Park. During the Second World War eastern Belgium was the scene of the famous Battle of the Bulge (Ardennes Offensive). All around the area you can visit memorials and museums about these events: Bastogne, Baugné 44, etc.
