Cynlyns is 15 min to Saintes or to St Jean D’Angèly and is located in the calm and secluded hamlet of Chez Ferret. This spacious and comfortably renovated country house dating from 1817 offers 3 bed and breakfast bedrooms all with private bathrooms. 1 double, one triple and a family bedroom which can sleep 1 to 6 people. We have enjoyed many car boot sale and antique shop along the way giving our house the character you see today. We have 2 ½ fenced, private acres of gardens overlooking a trout river called the Bramerit River. You can relax in our living room or in the garden. We have teas and coffee available, a microwave, refrigerator, free WIFI and secure parking. Continental breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the garden or in the garden. In winter breakfast is served in our cozy kitchen. We have named this house “Cynlyns” in honor or our grandparents Cynthia and Rosslyn. “The Stream in the Marsh” reminds us that the Bramerit river passes thru our garden and off to the marshlands of the Charente River banks. We do have dogs that are very friendly and like to be with our guests. If you do not like dogs or are afraid just let us know. Open all year.
