Our boutique Bed and Breakfast in Costa Rica is located 2 minute walk from the beach and is surrounded by a lovely tropical garden where monkeys and sloths are seen very regularly. Observe them from your hammock at your outdoor living area or from the lounge deck next to the swimming pool. You can cool down in our pool enjoining a refreshing drink from the swim-up bar. All rooms come with a private patio, air-conditioning, a big king size bed, a private bathroom and are cleaned daily. We offer 4 room types; lovely double rooms, stylish deluxe double rooms, a spacious junior suite and a very private deluxe suite. We are proud of our wide breakfast menu; freshly made and always included in the room rate. Try out our homemade bread and Dutch pancakes! Our Bed and Breakfast is ideal for those who are looking for a tranquil ambience and are travelling without (their) young children. However, you are welcome to come with kids from 15 years and older. B&B Jardín de los Monos is located in the peaceful beach community of Playa Matapalo Costa Rica near Quepos and Dominical. Considered a hidden paradise by many. Nonetheless, very easily accessible over newly paved roads (only the very last part is unpaved, no 4×4 needed). Enjoy this gorgeous beach and its long views in privacy; no crowds here! The Bed and Breakfast is centrally positioned to explore the stunning natural beauty of the region. Tourism high-lights as; Manuel Antonio National Park near Quepos, the lively surf village of Dominical, Nauyaca waterfalls, Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita; they are all on a short driving distance from Playa Matapalo Costa Rica. Playa Matapalo is not suited to visit without a (rental) car; just 1 restaurant on walking distance (1 km/ 0.6 mi), no ATM, no Taxi’s and the nearest bus stop is 2.3 km (1.3 mi) away.
