The grounds are particularly lovely and guests are welcome to explore them when not being used for weddings or other events. A delicious and extensive breakfast is served in the lovely dining room. As for the other meals, the hosts will be glad to offer you their personal dining recommendations. Guests really only had good things to say about the host, Richard. While they did praise him for being friendly and welcoming, it is clear from the reviews that he did not overdo it, with may guests saying he was extremely discreet and did not intrude unnecessarily during their stay.
A number of guests mentioned that the rooms do not seem to be properly soundproofed. They said that they could hear the sounds of both their neighbours and other general sounds from throughout the house. The fact that the area was otherwise so quite seemed to accentuate this problem.
