    The family-friendly campsite is beautifully situated in the northern end of Lake Tinnsjø. Here are 12 rental cabins, 2 playgrounds, hiking trail to the convenience store and hiking trail up the mountain with beautiful views. Sandviken Camping is located about 40km from Gaustatoppen and is an ideal base for hiking in Hardangervidda, Rjukan, the Unesco world heritage city, and good fishing possibilities in Lake Tinnsjø. There is possibility of connecting to WIFI, campfire and barbecue areas. There is also the possibility to rent canoes, kayaks, rowing boats with electric motor and SUP boards. At the reception you can order fresh bread and rolls from the local baker, buy breakfast and we sell hamburger and pizza in the evening.
