Renovations underway.
While some rooms are apparently showing their age, a hotel-wide renovation is in the works, featuring newly redone concierge rooms on the lower floors. A multi-tiered hotel rehabilitation plan includes replacing all windows, refurbishing the revolving restaurant, La Ronde, and updating any rooms that may be past their prime.

Soom rooms louder than others.
Some guests were left wondering if their door was ajar after hallway noise reached their rooms. Guests wished for more sound-proofing, especially when staying near elevators and high-traffic areas.

Unpleasant parking.
In addition to the steep charge for parking, guests weren't happy about the conditions of the parking garage underneath the hotel. Dirty elevators and questionable characters loitering in the parkade made some guests feel uneasy. 24-hour security is provided by the hotel, which some guests felt needed to be more visible.
negative:
Lack of air-conditioning.
Several guests reported uncomfortable room conditions after an inability to control the room temperature.
