Positive Reviews
positive:
Affordable
In a city where the price of accommodations can be very high, this hotel represents a more value-oriented choice. It's definitely one of the better picks if you're travelling on a tight budget or are just looking for a place to lie down for a short while. The price is also inclusive of breakfast, which is just okay.
positive:
Good location
The property is in the middle of a busy market in Dubai's old city. Consequently, there's plenty to see and do while you're there. Most of the places you may want to visit - such as Burj Khalifa - are within walking distance, and the metro and bus stations are only a few minutes away.
positive:
Basic but adequate rooms
The rooms are clean and spacious. They have balconies so you can enjoy the view of the surrounding area. There's also free Wi-Fi, which is reasonably strong and is steady most of the time, and there's a TV in your room.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Language barrier
Since most of the staff members barely speak English, it may be difficult to get assistance from them, even though they are friendly.
negative:
You may be woken up earlier than you wish
The hotel is very close to a mosque. There's a good chance you'll be woken up by the Muezzin's call to prayer. If you're sensitive to it, you may want to bring ear plugs.
negative:
Not the best choice for holiday oriented guests
The hotel offers only basic amenities and, while it's comfortable, it really won't add up if you are coming on holiday. Most of the guests are, in fact, businessmen who've come to trade in the nearby market.
