You can walk to the beach - *it's only a block away - and there's a free shuttle too.

Very smart and well-dressed, staff members here are extremely efficient and very friendly. Even at very busy times when they could be excused for getting ‘flustered', they'll take time out to say hello and smile. A smile goes a long way!

They seem to think of everything. The accommodation is clean, spacious and modern, with, if lucky, some sensational views. The pool is fairly large, clean and with a good depth. There are, in fact, 2 pools; one at ground floor level and the other is way up there, on the rooftop..

If you paint areas very darkly, any lack of cleaning isn't noticed. They've adopted that principle here and apart from being unattractive, the beady eye will spot that corridors and hallways could do with a long overdue thorough cleaning.

Valet parking is a good service but the cost is unreasonable and if staying for any length of time, you'd be well advised to extend your mortgage to cover the ridiculous expense.

The long-awaited spectacular views may be non-existent. There are only two elevators so, if you are reliant on them, be prepared to wait … for a very long time. The pool isn't ideal for kids and the surrounding furniture is minimal, given the number of resort guests. Room floors are very dirty. Air conditioning problems may result in an offer of alternative accommodation. This situation, though, brings its own considerable inconvenience and an intrusion into what should be holiday time
