Guesthouse Catania Centro Rooms (Catania, Italy)

The staff members are thought to be friendly and available to resolve guest needs. They would greet guests with a smile and were gentle with their manners. Guests felt at ease when talking to them.

The hotel was located in a central area and was therefore within walking distance of the shopping area and close to various restaurants and bars. The train station and bus stop for the airport was a minute's walk away. It was a convenient area to stay in.

The rooms had all the basics covered for a good stay. It offered a working air-conditioning, nice furnishings and mini fridges. The rooms were also spacious and clean with good linens and comfortable bed mattresses.

The breakfast was found to be a weak point for some guests as they did not enjoy having breakfast items that were not fresh. They would have liked some fresh bread or something similar instead of the manufactured items.

The rooms were thought to be too noisy by some guests who stayed there. They found the noise from the traffic and general city activities continued all night, which made for a horrible night's sleep. Some recommend to close the windows to reduce noise.

Some guests noticed a bad odor coming from the bathrooms which was very unappetizing. The odor seemed to be coming from the plumbing and at times the smell could be sensed. They would have preferred to have a functional toilet without the smell.
