Gasthof zum Diemeltal is a family-run guest house in Helminghausen. Located in the Diemelsee Nature Park and at the foot of the Diemel dam you can unwind in 15 beautifully decorated rooms. In the small town Helminghausen, Gasthof Zum Diemeltal in a quiet side road off of the access road. From the spacious beer garden you have a fantastic view of the dam and the younger guests in our garden. For cyclists there are garages where you can park your wheels and protected bikes at the house. For families, there is a special room with four beds. In the garden there is a swing, a sandbox and all sorts of toys to keep your children safe and undisturbed can play while you enjoy the sun and the beautiful surroundings. With daily fresh and seasonal ingredients the kitchen serves a balanced meal that you can enjoy at your leisure in a cozy rustic atmosphere. Later at night, you can spend your busy day's relaxing end with a glass of wine or beer at the bar.
