Positive Reviews
positive:
Modern, clean accommodation
Accommodation on offer at Aloft Hotel Tampa is very well-designed with a modern style and layout, contemporary color palette and quality furnishings. Rooms are slightly on the small side but thanks to a great layout, don't feel small. Rooms are also kept immaculately clean throughout.
positive:
Fantastic beds, walk-in showers
The quality of the beds at this hotel are exceptional and would suit most preference types. The beds are very comfortable, offer great back support and leave one feeling refreshed in the morning. Another highlight is the en suite bathroom walk-in shower, complete with rainfall showerhead and excellent water pressure.
positive:
Pet friendly to the next level
While some hotels are listed as being pet-friendly, this usually does not amount to more than allowing guests to bring along their furry companions. Aloft Hotel Tampa takes pet-friendly to the next level, providing exclusive doggie beds, special treats and even toys for ones beloved furry friend, at a fee of course.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Thin walls, poor sound insulation
The combination of thin rooms walls, poor overall room sound insulation and interconnected air vents makes for a potentially disruptive experience. It is very easy to hear conversations in rooms next door or above and some rooms are also more susceptible to road noise.
negative:
Valet parking only
The hotel does not offer the option of free self-parking and anyone coming in by car/vehicle must submit to a paid valet parking scheme which is an additional daily charge, over and above room rates.
negative:
Limited meal options
There is no actual full-scale restaurant on site, only a trendy 24-hour ‘snack/coffee bar' and a hotel bar serving light meals and drinks. The area however is filled with a wide range of dining options within walking distance.
