Hotel Alpino (Malcesine, Italy)

This family-run hotel wowed guests with genuine service delivered with a smile. Upon arrival, guests noticed that this hotel was customer focused, and great customer service was a reason to return for many.

Guests were delighted to find that a complimentary breakfast was provided at this hotel. Most found the continental selection to be adequate, but what really stood out were the delicious meals served for dinner. Customer service once again shone, and guests appreciated extra touches like a post-dinner drink. Many guests were so impressed, that they visited the restaurant on multiple occasions throughout their stay.

Guests felt that Alpino offered one of the best locations in the charming town of Malcesine. Facing picturesque Piazza Statuto, and within walking distance of transportation such as ferry service to Limone, guests couldn't have asked for more.

While most guests acknowledged that rooms were basic, some guests felt that rooms had seen better days. A few commented that accommodation was about two decades overdue for a refresh, but the good news is that rooms were found to be immaculately clean.

Taller guests felt a bit cramped in the guest room bathrooms, and several wished for a bit more leg room. Rooms in general were found to be small, including balconies, but most guests didn't mind the lack of space when considering the price of the room.

While the hotel advertises soundproofed windows, some found that rooms facing the parking lot could be noisy at times. Between doors opening and closing, bottle collection, and deliveries, a few guests staying at Alpino were disappointed with an interrupted slumber.
