Positive Reviews
positive:
Central location caters to all kinds of interests
Situated at only 200m from Vatican and 500m from
Basilica di San Pietro, this hotel is perfect for those who are after an
authentic religious experience. However, the proximity of the Ottaviano metro
stop can take restless tourists to other parts of the city as well. And the
shops, restaurants, hypermarket and coffee shops from the area will suit any
taste and expectation.
positive:
Rooms are very clean and mattresses irresistible
Guest are generally impressed with how clean the rooms are, often referring to them as “spotless”. Nevertheless, the best part of this accommodation seems to be the bed, with its firm mattress that provides a restful snooze after a tiring day of exploring Rome.
positive:
Staff makes you feel welcomed
Some employees mistake professionalism with stiffness, but not the staff of this hotel! These people are always smiling and eager to help. They are ready to take you to the airport and give you valuable directions, and they speak numerous languages, making you feel welcomed and respected.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The street bustle can get to you late at night
One of the prices you have to pay for staying in a central location is that the place can get a little noisy at night. Being so close to Vatican, people seem to prefer sleeping less and exploring more, even after dark. One tip would be to try and book a room on an upper floor or keep your windows closed and use the AC to cool down.
negative:
The breakfast could use a little more variety
One cannot start an adventurous day in Rome on an empty stomach and guests object that the continental breakfast that they serve here could be a little more diversified.
negative:
Some amenities may be out of reach or unsatisfying
If you are the type of person who cannot stand a crease on your shirt, not having an iron at your disposal could be an inconvenience. Or should you prefer to serve something hot in your room, you might really crave for a kettle. Even going to the reception to ask for help could walk you through an interesting experience since the elevator is kind of small and old, like in those movies.
