It's a very easy, five minute, walk to the really excellent beach. Shops and restaurants are also within easy walking distance. The property is on the canal; a great place for the kids to fish.

They are on the spacious side and comfortably furnished and well equipped. Generally, the high floors are good for peace and quiet; the lower floors are better for families and kids.

Very friendly and helpful, staff members are always ready to help with enquiries. This they do with great efficiency-and a friendly smile! They change the towels and bed linen every few days, or whenever you want. You don't usually expect this in self-catering apartments. This aspect of the service is more like that of a hotel.

They've allowed the (much needed) air conditioning to fall into disrepair. A good overhaul might sort out the problem but it is a problem that could have easily been avoided. Cleaning is haphazard and not really acceptable; you only get the basics in the kitchen and beach towels aren't supplied at all. Soundproofing is minimal so when you get a noisy set of guests, prepare to suffer a noise problem.

The pool is very much on the small side when you think of the numbers of people that it needs to accommodate.

You'll need a drink after trying to use the Wi-Fi which is pretty abysmal-particularly when the place is busy. Sadly, though, the drinks machines are out of commission on a regular basis.
