Many past guests were thrilled about the standard of the food served at the hotel. From the complimentary breakfasts to the modern dinner options, the quality and variety of the food was often highly rated.

With all Babbacombe attractions such as the beach and model village within comfortable walking distance, the location of the accommodation was a highlight for many. Moreover, the hotel reportedly supplies fantastic views of the sea, while Torquay town centre is conveniently just two miles away.

When it came to hygiene, the rooms – and hotel on the whole – were generally regarded as immaculately clean by previous guests. Furthermore, the rooms were usually seen as well-appointed and inviting, while the comfort of the beds was also commended.

Arguably the most common negative attributed to the hotel was the omission of any on-site parking. While paid parking is reportedly nearby, the lack of any on-site spaces was understandably a grievance for those travelling in their own vehicle.

With the accommodation spread across four floors, numerous former visitors were critical about the absence of a lift. This was especially a problem for those with mobility issues.

Based on feedback, a select number of rooms at the hotel are seen as cramped and lacking in moveable space. In addition, the rooms were also described on occasion as being overly hot and stuffy – something that was supposedly accentuated by the lack of air conditioning.
