You can take a stroll along the boardwalk that goes along the waterway, past the hotel, and to a great selection of places to eat and shop. You pass marinas full of pleasure boats, and mangroves that are home to all kinds of birds and other wildlife. It's safe to walk here in the evenings.

Reviewers were happy with the quality of the complimentary breakfast, saying that you get a good variety of tasty hot and cold dishes. The breakfast room is well organized, with plenty of food and ample seating.

Many guests were disappointed to find the pool closed for renovations during their stay, especially since this wasn't noted on the website. At times there was reportedly also stagnant water in the pool that gave off an unpleasant smell.

While you can park for free, you might sometimes have trouble finding a slot as the parking area is quite small. You might also find that boat owners take up a lot of extra space, which reduces availability for others.
