Positive Reviews
positive:
Views just get better the higher up you go.
The cylindrical tower design of Danubius Budapest means that all rooms have views of the surrounding Buda Hills area, and some these are fantastic, looking over towards the city centre, Castle Hill and the Parliament.
positive:
Good price, popular for business.
With cheap rates, comfy enough lodgings and clean rooms and bathrooms, this hotel is popular with business travellers, as well as with group tourists.
positive:
Public transport options handy.
Even though the location is slightly outside of the city centre, the bus and tram stops outside mean it is easy to travel to and fro for all of your sightseeing needs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfasts could use more fresh fare.
While the buffet breakfasts were generally found to be of good quality, many thought they could use more fresh fruit and vegetables.
negative:
Dated, with the odd air conditioning issue.
Guests have found the hotel to be dated and in need of refurbishment, with some problems with air conditioning sometimes leaving rooms too hot, but other than this. people were not too concerned given the price.
negative:
Only two elevators for 15 floors.
You may find the time it takes to get a ride in one of the lifts to be more than you prefer, since there are just two of them servicing all 15 floors in the hotel.
