positive:
Squeaky Clean
Housekeeping does a great job keeping everything tidy. If you’re hesitant about sharing a bathroom, don’t be. Guests say they are looked after so well, you will think you’re the only one there.
positive:
Pleasant Personnel
The staff is always available, 24/7, and willing to help whenever possible. They are quite knowledgeable about the area and can help you get acquainted with the city if you’re not familiar with it already. Guests also appreciated the onsite luggage storage, convenient if you want to make one last trip into town before flying out from London City Airport.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise Complaints
Guests have repeatedly complained about noisy neighbours. It’s especially a problem if you have a shared balcony, as the windows don’t offer much soundproofing.
negative:
Summer Heat
There is no air conditioning in the rooms so it can get hot and stuffy, especially in the summer. A fan can be requested, if it’s not already in your room, but guests say it helps very little.
negative:
Far From Town
The area is a bit secluded from the London city centre, and even far from the heart of east London, Canary Wharf. Guests thought it’s not fair to call this place Canary Heights, as it gives a false impression. In addition, there aren’t too many places to eat close by, but there are plenty of grocery stores.
