About Chelsea House
Less than 100 metres from Falmouth seafront, Chelsea House is a traditional bed and breakfast that offers rooms with private balconies and panoramic views over Falmouth Bay.
Each of the rooms here are individually styled, and all of them have an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and iPod speaker dock.
Guests are welcome to sit at the tables and chairs in the beautiful landscaped gardens surrounding the property, and free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the premises.
Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room, and can also be ordered to some of the rooms. The nearby Gylly Beach Cafe is a great choice for lunch and dinner.
The National Maritime Museum Cornwall can be reached in a ten minute walk, and Gyllyngvase Beach is just under half a mile away from Chelsea House.

Chelsea House enjoys an elevated position in the town of Falmouth and some of the rooms have absolutely stunning views of the surrounding area. Gaze over Pendennis Castle, Gyllyngvase Beach and the English Channel from your window.

Rooms can get very cold during the winter.
The rooms here have central heating, however the specific times it is turned on is at the discretion of the management. You may find yourself having to ask at reception for your room to be heated up if the chill gets too much.

While some of the rooms are large and sufficiently equipped, others are downright cramped and seriously lacking in the furnishings department. Rooms at the front of the property generally fare better than the ones at the back, and avoid a twin room if you

On the whole Chelsea House cannot be described as dirty, but some areas in the rooms and communal spaces require more attention to detail. Dusty corners, spots of grime in the fridges, odd carpet stains and marks on the walls need to be sorted out.
