Hotel Dönmez (Dalyan, Turkey)

The hotel is within walking distance of both the beach and Dalyan's downtown area. Guests loved the fact that they had easy access to area shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions when they stayed there.

Many guests commented that the staff is very cheerful, especially the barman. They are all willing to help with any requests or answer any questions that you may have. They have even gone so far as to go to a neighbouring bar to get drinks for guests when their own bar was out of particular beverages.

Guests love the fact that the staff seems to truly care about the hotel and always keeps it quite clean. The rooms are serviced each day to ensure that each guest is as comfortable as possible and dust never has a chance to accumulate.

Many guests were disappointed by the fact that the only food available at the hotel is a very basic Turkish breakfast. So, if you want a better breakfast or any meals at all later in the day, you will have to visit one of the restaurants in the area.

The hotel's beautiful terrace is located at the top of three flights of stairs. There is no lift for handicapped guests. So, although you can stay in a ground floor room if you are handicapped, you will miss out on the terrace views.

Several guests said that the rooms at the back of the hotel are much smaller than the rooms at the front. Therefore, you should choose your room wisely, especially if you are travelling with one or more companions.
