The 2-star Hotel Hanzestadslogement is situated in a historical building dating back to 1645 and is located in the centre of the historical Hanseatic cityof Deventer on the IJssel. When you enter the hotel, the atmosphere reminds you of your grandmother’s days. You will be checked in with a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of Deventer cake. During your stay, you will continue to enjoy such warm hospitality. It's a cosy and small family hotel with a tea and coffee house. There is a shop in the hotel where you can buy all sorts of products from different Hanseatic towns of Europe. For example Deventer koek (spiced cookies), coffee and mustard from Deventer, tea from Zutphen, Behind the shop is a Hanze museum, with wooden malls to make Dutch biscuits, coffee mills, chocolate malls and an old bakery where lots of Dutch candy is sold. All nine rooms and one family apartment are furnished differently. Every room is named after a Hanseatic city. All rooms have a kitchenette, bathroom with a toilet and shower or bath, TV, telephone, bathroom amenities, fan, heating, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, wake-up service/alarm clock with a radio, refrigerator, work desk. All the rooms are non-smoking.
