Hotel do Chiado (Lisbon, Portugal)

The guest rooms at Do Chiado are huge and feature luxurious amenities such as lovely views, comfortable beds and showers with lots of water pressure.  Guests also reported a high standard of cleanliness

This hotel is very centrally-located in the centre of the city and close to many restaurants, shops and attractions.  Guests reported that the area is easy to get around as most things are in walking distance and everything else is easy-accessible via an excellent transportation system.

The breakfast served each morning is fantastic with lots of delicious options to choose from.  Guests reported that the food is high quality and fresh and there are options for vegans and vegetarians.  The breakfast room itself is beautiful with views of the city.

The lobby and other common areas at Do Chiado are not very inviting as the lighting is poor and the decor is plain and boring with an overall lack of character.

At times, there can be a lot of noise around the hotel.  The sounds of people talking in the street below and in the corridors echoes through the rooms as does the sounds of vehicle traffic and drunken guests yelling and slamming doors until the early hours of the morning.

Guests reported that the rooms tend to get very hot because the air conditioning units do not function properly.
