Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent downtown Jacksonville location.
The downtown location was very popular with guests for the range of entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities found nearby, and also for the fact that it is easily accessible off Interstate Highway 95 and less than ten minutes' drive from Jacksonville Jaguars games at the EverBank Field. Guests also appreciated being a few minutes' walk away from the Monorail, close to the river and just around the corner from Jessie Ball DuPont Park, home of the venerable Treaty Oak.
positive:
Warm and courteous staff, comfortable lodging.
Those who stayed at Hampton Inn Jacksonville-Downtown-I-95 found a warm welcome awaiting them and said the staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful in making local recommendations. In addition to the reportedly clean and comfortable rooms, the pool is said to be a worthwhile addition for those looking for a quick dip.
positive:
Great breakfast buffet on offer.
The complimentary breakfast buffet is thought to be of great quality and well attended, with plenty of hot and cold fare on offer, and different options available every day. An added benefit is the apparently rather good coffee, however, on the other hand, the breakfast room was thought to be a little on the cramped side by some guests.
