Upper rooms can be tiring to get to and from.
There's only a lift for luggage at Hatters, so you still have to navigate stairs to get to and from your room and/or the loo. If you're not thrilled about having to use lots of steps, try and request lower floor accommodations.

Shared rooms are not as cosy as private ones.
Private rooms receive higher accolades than shared ones, and not just because of the obvious difference between staying with your own party versus sharing with strangers. The private rooms seem cosier, more spacious, and a better value.
