Le Germain's location is idea for exploring downtown Montreal. Plenty of shopping and dining options, as well as sightseeing destinations, can be reached on foot. The entrance to Montreal's underground city is right next door. For added convenience, public transport is also easily accessible from the hotel, and bus 747, going directly to the airport, stops nearby as well.

The modern fitness room features a variety of equipment, including treadmills, an elliptical, a multi-purpose machine, free weights and even a fitness ball with mats. However, most guests who visited the gym thought it was too small and could have been better equipped.

Housekeeping can be inconsistent. A few guests reported their rooms only being half-way cleaned, with no fresh towels or renewed amenities. Furthermore, some guests ran into various maintenance issues during their stay, but they were quickly resolved by the efficient staff.

The modern rooms are lacking in drawers and storage space. However, there is shelf space all around the room, that most guests found satisfactory. The bathroom has a similar problem - it lacks counter space to lay out personal care items.
