In an excellent position, deep in the colour and fragrance of the surrounding landscape, Il Poggiolo offers an amazing view of the Umbrian countryside. Colours and perfumes change according with the different seasons, always arousing different emotions. The eighteenth-century house has been restored using local materials and respecting the local traditions. A wonderful swimming pool, laid on a natural terrace, offers stunning view of the surrounding hills. Every available surface within the property has been planted with flowers brimming with a profusion of colours. Mature trees provide a dappled shade for reading on a bench by the pond.The four stone-walled apartments are furnished and decorated in a stylish manner with many beautiful touches that are truly Umbrian and are a reflection of the owners’ love for country matters. All of them have a private patio, chimney and fully equipped kitchenette. The restaurant, which is reserved for our guests, offers fabulous local dishes full of flavour and made with products from the farm (you cannot miss our home-made pasta, grilled meat and vegetables…all dressed with a special olive oil).
