Hotel Knights Inn Florida City (Florida City, USA)

This place is very convenient for those that are heading to the Keys. You’ll find that it’s a short drive to most of the local attractions, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

The rates charged aren’t that low, but they are better than many other hotels in the area which could be a great help to those on a budget. It’s an okay motel with fairly good rooms that have microwaves and fridges. All in all, good value for money.

The new owners are remodeling the rooms one by one, but regardless of whether you get an older style room or a refurbished one, you’ll find that they are quite spacious. There’s plenty of room for a couple with a few bags in tow.

There have been instances where guests have found trash from previous guests upon arrival in their room. They also found moldy bathrooms that hadn’t been cleaned properly which is never a good sign at a hotel. The housekeeping staff need more training.

The entire hotel smells of smoke, and this extends right through to the non-smoking rooms. Guests aren’t too sure that there is any difference between smoking and non-smoking rooms as both are said to reek of stale smoke.

The staff that work at this motel seems indifferent to the needs of their guests. So if you have a problem, you can expect to spend quite some time trying to get it resolved. They aren’t too polite to you either which frustrates and annoys many guests.
