positive:
Nice central location.
Many guests found this hotel to be well situated, and liked that they didn't have to deal with a downtown location. No-hassle parking was another perk, and the free price tag was even better. Get to area attractions in no time, including Boerne, North Park, the San Antonio Airport, and the Wonderland of the Americas for a shopping spree like no other.
positive:
Free shuttle.
When you discover free amenities that you didn't know were offered at a hotel, it's a good day. Guests were delighted to find that transportation got a whole lot easier, thanks to a hotel shuttle that went to and from the San Antonio Medical Center and airport.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Work needed in some areas.
While the majority of guests were satisfied with the condition of rooms, some were discouraged by worn carpet and dingy decor in other areas of the hotel. A few guests complained of older bedspreads and stained towels, something that could often be overlooked because of an otherwise pleasant stay.
negative:
Hit and miss Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi worked great for some guests, and not so great for others. Guests traveling for work were particularly inconvenienced by unreliable Wi-Fi that left them guessing whether or not they would be able to connect.
negative:
Mediocre staff.
Several guests expressed that they wanted staff to be friendlier. Customer service wasn't a standout at La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio Medical Center, and guests experienced lackluster service during phone interactions, as well as at the front desk.
