After the First World War, the textile family Blijdenstein from Twente built its country house on De Wilmersberg. The family was known for building its houses only on the most beautiful locations. This is where the Blijdenstein's received many guests, with hot chocolate and a pancake. With a lot of love we continue that tradition in the historic villa. Whether you are a culture lover, bon vivant or prefer to enjoy nature, here you can be active or relax in peace and quiet. You can stay in and around the hotel. Discover the Twente region by bike or on foot. The hotel has many different cycling and walking routes. Do you prefer to stay in the hotel? No problem and come and relax in our Wellness Boutique. Book a wonderful Wellness Treatment during your stay and let yourself be pampered. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace with the most beautiful view of Overijssel, or the Netherlands. Or enjoy a snack and drink in our cosy lounge in front of the large fireplace. In the evening you can join us in our restaurant for a delicious dinner prepared by Ronald Bor and his team. The hotel has 59 rooms. Some rooms have their own private terrace and bathroom with separate bath and shower. Furthermore, swimming pool, sauna and fitness facilities are always included in the price.
