Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient to Pacific and downtown Long Beach.
A stay at Long Beach Motel will put you close to Pacific Ocean and downtown Long Beach — in fact, less than a five-minute drive to both. You will find yourself close to a few shops and grocery stores for supplies, as well as handy to Long Beach Airport.
positive:
You get what you pay for.
The old adage ‘you get what you pay for' applies here; the rooms are plain and not in the best condition, but the price is cheap for long beach. As long as your expectations are not high, and you aware of the area's drawbacks, this can be a good economical choice for those simply looking for somewhere to sleep — the beds are reportedly comfortable enough.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Reportedly dodgy area and clientele.
Some of those who stayed at Long Beach Motel said they witnessed some very shady characters also staying at the hotel, and said the neighborhood itself looked rather dodgy, with the safety glass in some places making a few feel uncomfortable. In addition, a small number of guests reported noise from either outside, or through the walls from other guests.
negative:
Rooms in poor condition.
The rooms here are reportedly rundown and dated, with standards of cleanliness perhaps best described as unkempt, stained carpets and some issues with maintenance of room furnishings, including a couple of people who said they had problems with locks.Guests say they sometimes experienced lingering stale smoke smells, in addition to a small number of roach and bedbug experiences.
negative:
Indifferent service and no breakfast.
The staff at this hotel has at times been described as being not very responsive, with others saying they received rude or indifferent service, and only a handful or reviewers finding the team members to be kind and accommodating. Furthermore, some guests were disappointed to learn there was no breakfast served here, after thinking they had booked this online.
