Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location
The hotel is centrally located, giving great views of the sea in every direction. It's also within easy walking distance of multiple beaches, as well as all the shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars you could need - as well as a couple of supermarkets.
positive:
Cosy, pleasant rooms
The rooms aren't large, but are well appointed so that they feel cosy instead of cramped. Fans and air conditioning are available in some rooms to help keep them cool, and every room has a small porch or balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful sea views and refreshing breeze.
positive:
Excellent value
Though in some ways the accommodations are basic, the quality of what they do have is far more than what you'll get anywhere else for the same price. Great for travellers on a budget!
Negative Reviews
negative:
No Wi-Fi in rooms
The hotel does offer Wi-Fi, but it's only accessible from the lobby area. Don't plan on using the Internet for getting a lot of work or video streaming during your stay!
negative:
Very limited English
Though in most cases it's not a problem, you should be aware that the staff speaks Spanish almost exclusively. You'll be well served by bringing along a good phrasebook or brushing up on your Spanish.
negative:
No elevators
The hotel is a bit on the old side, and the only way to get between floors is via the stairs. If you're not able to use stairs for any reason, or just travel with enough luggage to make the absence of an elevator problematic, it might be worth looking elsewhere.
