The concierge was said to be especially good, able to not only give top quality local advice and give true individualised service.
On the whole, guests were happy with the location of the hotel. It is a little out of the centre of Medellin, but guests reported that there was a good selection of restaurants nearby and that the city’s trendy Parque LLeras neighbourhood, with its bars, clubs and cafes, was just a short cab ride away.
A number of guests were not completely happy with the hotel’s décor, both in their room and in the public areas. While most acknowledged that it was very modern, a distinct minority felt this resulted in a sterile environment that reminded them of typical chain hotels.
Quite a number of guests commented that their bed was a bit harder than they would have liked; so those who prefer soft pillow-top style mattresses may be a little disappointed.
