The Ordnance hostel in Beresford Square, Woolwich, London, is cheap accommodation for those on a budget. There are eight, six, four and two bed mixed dorms available.

The staff at the hostel is described as friendly and helpful.

Though far from the centre of town, the hostel is next to Woolwich Arsenal train station and the DLR Underground Station, and is also well connected by bus.

The Ordnance hostel is far from town and several guests felt that the neighbourhood was not really safe. It has been described as ‘creepy’ and homeless people are known to hang about and the hostel's occupants themselves can be quite unsavory. Issues about the proper locking of the doors in the hostel have also been reported.

The bathrooms are shared and there is only one Ladies WC report some female guests. Many guests have reported that the rooms and bathrooms in the hostel are unclean and crowded and that the occasional mouse can be spotted in the rooms. Bathrooms are dirty, damp and smelly, say guests.

There are people who actually live in this hostel (as opposed to merely hiring rooms for a few days) and they tend to monopolize use of the plug sockets.
