Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor soundproofing
Guests who stayed in the main lodge as opposed to one of the separate cabins mention that they found the surroundings quite noisy at times, especially when the breakfast staff was setting up for the day. A stay in a separate building is recommended for light sleepers.
negative:
No TVs or phones
Guests occasionally mention the lack of TVs and phones in the rooms and lodges. Although some were happy enough to “switch off” for a while, others found the lack of these amenities frustrating, especially since the Wi-Fi signal is less than impressive.
negative:
No climate control in rooms
Although clean and comfy, the rooms and cabins do not offer any sort of climate control. With no heating or air-conditioning available, the temperature is very much in the hands of Mother Nature.
