The staff is pleasant and very helpful. They do try to make the best out of what they have to work with and they do a pretty good job of it. .
There is a homely feel about the hotel though at first glance it does not appear that way. The balcony overlooks the woods and you have a complete kitchen and bathroom, a kitchen table and all the utensils you need. It's great for longer stays. The moss covered trees are beautiful too.
The hotel is in need of repairs. Creaky stairs, run down kitchen drawers, and marks on the wall are just some things that needs to be repaired or replaced. The tennis courts do not appear to be taken care of at all and the surface is slippery and dangerous. Don't be surprised if you spot a few cockroaches here and there. .
There is no beach, no bar for the pool, no restaurant, no privacy, and no parking after 11pm. It's basically no fun.
The breakfast will leave you ravenous. You may find the fruit tasteless and other items do not taste very fresh either. You can always eat breakfast somewhere else. Additionally, while you're at, bring a mosquito net or repellent if you plan on hanging around the pool. It's mosquito paradise! .
