Positive Reviews
positive:
Ideal location to do absolutely…nothing
The hotel is in a tiny fishing village and there is not a lot to do outside the hotel. But this suits many guest perfectly, since they describe the environment this creates as ideal for total, complete, and absolute relaxation.
positive:
Entertainers added to the atmosphere
Given the remote location, the hotel does arrange its own nightly entertainment. While opinions were inevitably mixed, many speak highly of the entertainers and say that they added some life to an otherwise quiet hotel.
positive:
Beautiful spa area
While it doesn't seem to be well used, guests who did use it say that the spa area is quite beautiful, and they were very happy with the treatments they had there.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool area a bit too busy
Several guests mention that the two pool areas can get a bit too crowded, even when the hotel does not appear full. They also go on to say that this naturally results in the infamous shortage of deck chairs, with most of them being reserved before they even get out of bed.
negative:
Not so all-inclusive after all
Quite a few guests mention that the fairly remote location put them in a bind when they discovered that their deal wasn't as all inclusive as they had hoped. Of course, good alcoholic drinks were not included, but also mentioned was that drinking water was not free either, which some thought a bit unfair.
negative:
Expensive and weak Wi-Fi
A fairly common compliant, it seems the Wi-Fi at the hotel is both expensive, and not very good. Some speculate that the whole of Fuertaventura has poor connectivity, but whether this is so or not, those with a pressing need for a fast connection may well have issues here.
