The friendly staff here give you a warm welcome.
You'll be greeted with some cake when you arrive at Rohaven, a nice little touch, and the staff are ready to help with your bags. You're welcomed in and put at ease, it's a place you can feel at home in.
positive:
Plenty of parking space if you drive here.
You've got nothing to worry about if you bring your car to this place, there is more than enough car parking spaces to go around. It's also just a 15 minute walk into town so no need to drive.
positive:
Good value for money and a fantastic breakfast.
Overall this bed and breakfast offers good quality rooms at a very reasonable rate, and the icing on the cake is the delicious cooked breakfast that is included. It's a great choice for a cheap overnight stay in Exmouth.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The shower water pressure is a tad weak.
If you like an invigorating power shower in the morning then you're out of luck here. The water pressure is decidedly weak, with water dribbling out of the shower head rather than spraying out.
negative:
Slow Wi-Fi that doesn't reach all the rooms.
The free Wi-Fi here has to be improved, you can only really connect to it in the downstairs communal areas because the signal is too weak to reach the rooms. Even when you're connected the speed is poor.
negative:
Old decor could do with being updated.
Rohaven is a lovely classic English bed and breakfast, but if you are looking for the height of modernity then you'll be disappointed. Much of the decorating and interior design of the property has a distinctly old style.
