Hotel Rydges Parramatta (Parramatta, Australia)

Previous visitors who stayed here were really impressed by the service provided by the staff, with many singling out their professionalism and friendly attitudes as being appreciated and the best part of their stay.

The hotel is embarking on an ambitious refurbishment and the guests who had witnessed the first finished elements of it had positive reviews for the hotel as everything was new and clean.

The location of the hotel according to guests is perfect as it just across the street for the racecourse, close to pubs and eateries and close to the football stadium and Olympic park.

The air conditioning units at the hotel were singled out by many guests for a variety of reasons some thought that the air conditioning struggled with cooling the rooms whilst other commented that it was so loud that they could not sleep and some where not at all happy about how dusty the units were which just circled dirty air.

Guests who stayed in rooms yet to be included in the recent refurbishments still felt the need to leave less than positive reviews about the hotel.  Guests particularly singled out the furniture which was not at all modern.

The hotel suffers a lot from road noise due to it being on a major arterial road in the busy central area of Paramatta. Guests suggest a bit of double glazing on the may help soundproof the rooms.
