Positive Reviews
positive:
Super staff and sensational views!
The staff are here to assist in any way possible and they do this with a warm smile and enthusiasm. If, for instance, a sea view is the focal point of your holiday, they'll do everything possible to ensure that you get it.
positive:
The location is terrific.
The marina is a five minute stroll away and from here, the adventurous embark on exciting diving lessons. More laid back activities involve getting a water taxi to transport you to endless scenically beautiful locations nearby.
positive:
Irresistible restaurants.
The food and choices are impossible to resist and no good for those on a diet. If there is a downside, it's the varying standards of the available wines. Staff are eager to keep trying until they get it right and the guest's role in the process can be hugely enjoyable!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Finisterra: aka Land's End; or 'end of patience'?
This is where your patience can end as, time after time, money orientated staff fail to give a proper service unless elements of the folding stuff are heading for the hotel coffers. They aren't all like this but, if you get one, avoid and go to someone else.
negative:
Next "time, share" the good bits
The old half of the resort lags behind the modern section. Things aren't as good here. Food isn't exceptional and alcoholic drinks are like nothing you've tasted before! The very best bits are enjoyed by the black wristband wearing time sharers and this leads to an inferiority complex on the part of other high paying guests.
negative:
Pros and cons.
It's a wonderful location and the hotel has some great plus points. It's expensive though for what is and next time, some research, might come up with a more cost effective deal.
