Since the hotel has such quick access to the local highway, it makes for a convenient stop late at night. There are also many restaurants in the immediate area.

Asking for nonsmoking rooms or rooms with certain features will be met with and guests can also change rooms if theirs is not to their liking. Cleaning and maintenance staff missing in action
There are many problems with cleaning and maintenance. The rooms are old and dusty and dirty. Housekeeping gives a cursory service, rather than the deep cleaning needed. Maintenance personnel seems to be completely lacking as rooms have holes in the walls and ceilings and many plumbing problems.

Smoking smells permeate the entire building and the smells are strong in every area, from the lobby to the rooms. Even rooms that are labeled nonsmoking can still have that odor and the smell seems to seep between the rooms.

When issues or problems are brought to management, these often result in unpleasant and unhappy customer service experiences. Language does seem to be a barrier. There are also frequent billing issues that are never fixed to customer's needs.
