Positive Reviews
positive:
Conveniently close to sports venues and facilities.
Seattle Steakhouse is in close proximity to cricket and golf clubs, and is right next door to a sports and leisure facility. Wembley Stadium is only 30 minutes away, and for those preferring Nature activities, gardens and country trails are nearby. It's a convenient stopover when travelling through Hertfordshire to see a match or go on hikes, or close enough to gym space to keep up an exercise regimen.
positive:
Clean bed sheets and decent size for the price.
Low costs don't result in much more here than a bed, a space to drop your things, and somewhere to stay when needed. If you're happy just settling down into clean sheets and getting a decent rest, this may be a fair option for a quick getaway.
positive:
Nothing else positive to say about this hotel.
No other positive opinion has been expressed by the guests about these accommodations.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms are absolutely filthy and in bad conditions.
The rooms are in poor conditions, and make guests hesitant or uncomfortable to stay. Stained carpets, floors, walls, and linens, foul odours, messy beds, and broken or old furniture are too much to bear even for such low prices.
negative:
Toilets and showers are dirty and don't work well.
Bathrooms are just as bad as the bedrooms, with stains, odours, and obvious signs of disrepair. Adding to the terrible impression is that the fixtures don't always work as well as they should, so water pressure and temperatures are difficult to consistently maintain.
negative:
Coffee/tea isn't provided and there's no breakfast.
It's disappointing that the inn is part of a restaurant and often markets itself as a bed and breakfast, yet does not serve morning meals! Also, despite advertising as such, tea and coffee supplies are often not provided in the rooms.
