Negative Reviews
negative:
Occasional patchy Wi-Fi
Unlike some luxury hotels, Swissotel The Bosphorus does provide guests with free Wi-Fi access in all areas, which visitors appreciated. A few, however, thought the signal could occasionally be patchy and that the login process was a little cumbersome.
negative:
Mixed views on value for money
Some visitors doubted whether the hotel represented value for money compared to other high end accommodation in Istanbul. With many competitively priced dining options in the city, a few guests felt breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel were overpriced even if they were good. Bar prices were also reportedly on the high side.
negative:
Bosphorus views not guaranteed
Some visitors claimed they booked rooms with Bosphorus views but received only a partial view of the waterway, which came as a disappointment. These accounts were in the minority, however, with most guests remarking that views from the room were fine.
