If travelling to the Yosemite National Park with your pet there are few hotels which will allow dogs and the Comfort Inn Yosemite Area is one of them though there may be an additional charge for doing so.

The rooms are often cheaper than alternative accommodation inside the Park and rooms offer facilities such as a microwave and fridge. There is an outdoor pool and although it is not heated it is a great respite after hours of hiking. The beds are also very comfortable and the rooms themselves a good size. Wi-Fi is available and more than adequate for general internet use.

The hotel displays high standards of cleanliness with many past guests commenting on how clean it was throughout. Staff are often referred to as being very friendly and taking pride in where they work and the hotel also offers plentiful parking.

Access to the Yosemite National Park is via a long, winding road and you should expect it to take around an hour from the hotel to the nearest visitor centre. Previous guests recommend getting up early to ensure that you can find a good parking spot when you get into the Park.

The hotel is deceptively bigger than it looks with over 100 guestrooms and there have been multiple reports that the breakfast area can get congested and there may be a wait to be seated.

Noise within the hotel travels due to thin walls and creaking floors and some noise may be heard from trucks outside the hotel and the lumber yard nearby.
