Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and relaxing facilities
Everything at The Peninsula Inn is impressively clean, both in common areas and in guestrooms, which are spacious and come with comfortable beds. If you are looking to chill out within the hotel then the pool is a nice temperature and the hot tub and sauna are good as well.
positive:
Friendly and helpful
The majority of the staff here are great. They will tend to your needs and can also offer you a lot of useful recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area.
positive:
Well placed
This building is in a good position. It is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, as well as being easily accessible from the highway. And of course it is close enough to the Falls.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not free and not great
If you want to use the Wi-Fi at The Peninsula Inn, then you are going to have to pay an extra fee. This seems like something of a liberty when so many establishments offer free internet access these days. To make matters worse, the connectivity isn't even always that good. You might have trouble logging on and when you do get online you may experience an interrupted service. If you are having to pay to use it, you would at least expect it to be of good quality.
negative:
A bad start to the day
The continental breakfast seems somewhat pricey for what you get. And if you want cooked food, you'll have to spend even more.
negative:
Things to wake you
The blinds in guestrooms don't always keep all of the light out, so you might be woken earlier than you'd like. Also, due to the proximity to the highway, you may experience a bit of traffic noise.
