Located at Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark is a 3-star resort for the whole family, featuring a year-round indoor water park.

The guest rooms are spacious, well presented and kept clean by daily housekeeping. The beds are comfortable and afford a good nights' sleep. Guests wishing to self cater will be pleased with the fully equipped kitchen which is stocked with cookware. The fireplace and spa tub are also welcome luxuries.

The waterpark has a range of slides and activities that are a great adventure for the kids. Lake Geneva is a 5-minute drive away where you can swim and rent boats. Other activities include on-site horseback riding, skiing kayaking and ski lessons.

Family-friendly means noisy at times
The resort area can be very noisy and crowded particularly during busy periods, according to guest reviews. Groups of children and young people in particular can be noisy and their movements and conversations loud, the sound of which can be audibly heard between the guest rooms. Some guests reported that they did not sleep very soundly during their stay.

Worn out premises
Some guests had the impression that the resort is run down and in need of updating, as well as raising their standards of cleanliness. The public areas, including the swimming pool area, were not always regularly cleaned resulting in messy surrounds and dirty facilities. Carpet in the rooms and hallways are also stained and in need of a good clean, according to some guests.
