Rooms Could Use Some Upgrades
The Upcott House prides itself on being a traditional-style bed and breakfast, but some guests have wondered whether it might be time for some renovations. You may notice that some of the fixtures appear worn, but some guests feel that the traditional, old-school ambiance of the guest house makes up for it.

Not All Rooms have En Suite Bathrooms
If it's very important for you to have an en suite bathroom, consider opting for one of the rooms with this feature at your time of booking. Otherwise, you may have to share a bathroom with other guests during your stay.

Rooms are Chilly when the Temperature Drops
The historic Upcott House does not have heating, so you may have to find other ways to stay warm. Most guests don't mind that the lack of heat and consider it part of the experience, and the fact that the hosts provide extra blankets, electric fires, and hot water bottles helps, too.
