While the area is very quiet and private and it seems like you are far away from the crowds, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. Guests also reported that the hotel grounds, the beach and the surrounding area are raked and cleaned every day.

Guests reported that upon arrival, they were greeted by friendly, smiling staff who asked lots of questions and were able to answer questions about the area and the hotel. Also reported was staff who are always available to assist, staff who have no issues booking tours and calling taxis, staff who resolve issues immediately and staff who make safety a top priority. .

The guest rooms are spotlessly cleaned everyday and feature comfortable beds and furnishings. Guests also reported that the Wi-Fi always works, fresh towels are provided daily, the refrigerator is well-stocked with ice and other items and the bathrooms are large and luxurious. .

The guest rooms at White Sands Negril lack amenities and are unkempt with guests reporting several issues such as poorly-sealed windows, malfunctioning toilets, poor-quality and unmatched bedding, doors that don't properly lock, tattered furnishings and leaky refrigerators. Also reported was a shortage of towels and hot water, Wi-Fi that doesn't work and malfunctioning air-conditioning. .
