The theme here is 'the great outdoors', so you don't visit Cape Cod to immerse yourself in hotel luxury! There are a few rough corners here.. but, far outweighing them, some really great value facilities include the indoor and outdoor pools and that really impressive hot tub! Rooms, too, are surprisingly spacious and the complimentary breakfast is fine.
They're great! Very friendly and accommodating, they're a real bonus for visitors and an enthusiastic source of information on the surrounding area.
You get the impression that things were great a few decades ago; but those days are long gone! The place is, frankly, depressing.
If cleanliness is next to godliness, they've got some real concerns! It's very hit and miss with 'misses' including uncleaned floors and 'tacky' surfaces; a real giveaway hint that things aren't right. There's also a lack of basic facilities. Laundry is an issue with no changes to bedding and towels. Even the toilet roll isn't changed!
There's no sound insulation between the rooms so noise from other guests is a real factor, particularly if you're trying to sleep.
