Welcome to the Hotel "Zu Freunden" The history of the historic building dates back to the 19th century. The hotel was carefully renovated last year and now offers you a unique mix of old and new. The modern equipment make this house a unique experience. The spacious and comfortably furnished rooms all have a large flat-screen TV with cable TV, free Wi-Fi access, a minibar at fair prices and a large shower. Most rooms also offer the advantages of a daylight bath. You can also enjoy the cozy box-spring beds in all rooms. The focus here is on terms such as hospitality, family atmosphere and cosiness. Our family-run Hotel To Friends - Bed & Breakfast was exclusively and extensively renovated and modernized by us from February 2019 - March 2020. The historical building offers a lot of space so that we could let our ideas run free. With small accents, we were able to incorporate the old charm of the building into the renovation. The 100 year old staircase and parts of the old half-timbering could be preserved and were skilfully staged by us. As soon as you enter the lounge on the ground floor you can feel the charm that characterizes the historic building. In the vicinity of the accommodation, the Lippeaue welcomes you to leisurely walks or bike tours. The moated castle in Nordkirchen is approximately 25 km from the property. This is the largest and most important baroque residence in Westphalia which, due to its size and architecture, is also known as the "Westphalian Versailles". You can also explore the Römer-Lippe route by bike from our hotel. The Lippe, the longest river in North Rhine-Westphalia, now has its own long-distance cycle route: The Römer-Lippe route! Bike enthusiasts can now experience Roman culture and water experiences between Detmold and Xanten comfortably from the saddle over more than 400 kilometers. Among other things, the Sri Kamadchi Ampal Temple, which is one of the top 10 sights in Hamm on TripAdvisor, is just over 20 km away. A relaxed family trip to the zoo in Hamm, the Maximilianpark Hamm or the Erlebnistherme Bad Hamm - Maximare can also be reached in a short time. Various shopping and entertainment options can be reached from our hotel on foot, by bike or by car. The motorway entrance to the A1 is 5 minutes from the accommodation, so the cities of Münster and Dortmund can be reached in around 30-40 minutes. A connection to the A2 can be reached just as quickly via the nearby Kamener Kreuz.
