Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location just off the freeway
This was by far what guests most appreciated about the motel. It is just off the I-210, which made finding it initially very easy. Guests also liked being able to quickly access the freeway when they were ready to be on their way. The location within Pasadena was also said to be decent, with shopping dining and attractions not too far from the motel.
positive:
Cheap price
Several guests mentioned that they got a really good room rate. They felt that as long as they just used the room to sleep in, and were not too fussy, the low room rate made the motel a good deal for LA area accommodations.
positive:
In-room microwave and fridges
Guests really appreciated having these two amenities available. It helped them keep their cold beverages nice and cold and gave them the ability to heat up a quick snack before settling down to a movie.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Beds were rock hard
Again and again guests mentioned how hard the beds were. In their view they were not merely a little firm, but “rock hard”. Many guests, not only those who typically like soft mattresses, found them incredibly uncomfortable.
negative:
Very noisy location
Guests paid for the convenience of being so close to the freeway by having to endure the noise associated with it. They said they could easily hear the sound of the cars speeding by and that this made it difficult to sleep.
negative:
Not enough electrical outlets
This was a very common complaint. Guests mentioned that their room had only one electrical outlet and that this was used by the air conditioner. Considering how many devices people carry around nowadays that need to be recharged, guest felt there should have been at least three or four.
